Category - construction

Remote monitoring products associated with building and construction diagnostics. They support different types of sensors:

  • analogue (voltage, potentiometric)
  • digital
  • vibrating wire (VW) based
  • “smart” types of sensors with data interface: RS232, RS485 and MODBUS protocol.
  • Specially developed sensors for the construction industry to detect stiffness or distortion in structures (typically on bridges with prestressed concrete.)
    • electronic detection slides (crack and joint opening)
    • detectors of changes in the structure’s own vibrations (changes in stiffness)

The devices are normally in sleep mode to last typically 5-15 years on a single battery, taking measurements at regular intervals or on stimulus, and sending the data across the entire IoT network for further processing.
