Interfaces

SENSECOM communicators have many types of interfaces or sensors:

Digital

– Up to 6 binary inputs

Analog

– Voltage +/-10V (or 0-10V), potentiometric (with voltage excitation), ohmic (e.g. for thermistors)

Pulsed

– Pulse counting, pulse volume peak measurement, interval measurement, high intensity pulse detection, pulse volume detection,…

Data

– with RS485, RS232 interface and MODBUS, M-BUS communication protocols

Optical

– with IEC62056-21 interface (typically electricity meters, calorimeters)

Active

– with excitation signal or sensor control (e.g. vibrating string sensors, voltage excitation, pre-trigger to stabilize sensors before measurement)

Integrated

– Sensors included in the device – RFID, BARC readers, accelerometer, temperature and humidity sensors,…
