Reliability of transmission in the IoT network is much higher than in conventional wireless networks, mainly due to two reasons:

1) The device transmits a message that usually captures several base stations at the same time. This redundancy creates extremely high transmission reliability.

2) The device transmits in a narrow band (applies to the SIGFOX IoT network). The transmitted energy is highly concentrated and it is very difficult to jam such a device. Unlike GSM, where a simple jammer is sufficient to jam, the IoT device in the SIGFOX network requires a few kilowatts transmitter, and there is still a risk that the message will still be received by one or more base stations.
